  1. Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum (月桂冠大倉記念館)

This museum in Kyoto’s famous sake area opens up the old-style sake brewery. You’ll see how our sake has long been made and they offer three different cups of sake for you in the museum. If you are a sake fan, this is definitely a must-visit spot!

  1. SUNTORY YAMAZAKI DISTILLERY (サントリー山﨑蒸溜所)

We’re sure that many of you love SUNTORY’s whiskey. It is both interesting and tasty to try out the various exhibitions, and there is a special gift shop (for free) and you can taste the whiskey too (for a charge). You’ll also get to watch the real whiskey-making process on the charged tour.

This is the must-visit spot for all the beer lovers! One of the major Japanese drink companies “Kirin” shows the beer producing process at their own factory. Tamba Wine has a grape farm, winery, and restaurant. You’ll see the farm, try the wine, and buy the wines you like the best. There is a restaurant next to the farm, so it is extremely fun to eat lunch which complements their wine!
